Powerlifting
tags: Physical Exercise Finally I got the motivation for physical training back. Haven't done anything like that for 1½-2 years now so was kind of excited to se how much I've lost in strength and power.
Since the traning facilities of ITU does not include a powerrack (damn them!), I couldn't do my favourite exercise, Back Squat. Instead I had to do squatting in a Smith machine, was not satisfied with that, but then again, it's better than nothin' eh?
Did the following exercises today:
Squat in Smith Machine 5x5 - 40kg
Bench Press 5x5 - 50kg
Rows 4x6 - 45kg
Dumbell curls 4x8 - 8kg
Dumbell Side Press Raise 4x8 - 4kg
Most of the exercises is between 50 and 150% below my prime, but I haven't done anything for almost two years so... You gotta start somewhere right?
What genuinely surprised me was that my squat had fallen completely apart, so I got to get that up and running again.
Think I will blog about this once in a while, just to throw a few lines about my progress in the blog.
