Rammstein concert
tags: Music Finally the day has come; I'm going to a concert with Rammstein tonight. Haven't been to a metal concert in a few months now, not since I sawOpeth perform in September. That was a fantastic performance by the way.
To those of you who do not knowRammstein, it is Neue Deutsche Härte (or German Industrial Metal) with angry german lyrics.
Two of my absolute favourite songs with Rammstein are"Keine Lust" and"Du Hast".

Hey there, interesting blog you have here. I am a little familiar with symphonic metal. Not at all with German industrial metal. How does the word "industrial" fit in?

Hey k. Well, I think wikipedia explains it quite well, so I'll make a quote:
"Industrial metal is a musical genre that draws from industrial music and heavy metal, using repeating metal guitar riffs, sampling, synthesizer or sequencer lines"
I personally think that the heavy repeated guitar riffs (in most of Rammsteins songs, the guitar is tuned in C, whereas a guitar normally is tuned in E) and the synthesizer sounds make it sound like one mean machine:)
